Stabilization Support Services bases its activities on approved and implemented into the work processes of the organization Code of Ethics — that clearly defines the main values of the organization (for instance, responsibility, serving the society, gender sensitive approach, religious freedom etc.), fundamental principles of activity of the organization (for instance, non-profitness, non-governmentness, independence, self-governance, and others) and guidelines (conflict sensitivity, confidentiality, and the others). Gender policy is one of the basic components that the activities of the organization are based on. Gender inequality is a fundamental reason for poverty, instability, discrimination, and violence. And countering this inequality, as well as other forms of discrimination, gender sensitive program and project planning, and empowering girls and women in the society are cornerstones in Stabilization Support Services policies.
